    Chocolate Clay/Modeling chocolate recipe?

I've seen several versions of recipes for chocolate clay and have not had the luck with them that some others have. Margi, can you share your recipe? I'd love to start modelling those darling little figures, but want to start with a good medium first. I know you have had great sucess in this area and would love if you could post your recipe.

ge sent me her recipe so I could post it...

    CHOCOLATE MODELING CLAY
    Ingredients:
10 ounces of chocolate coating or chips
    1/3 cup of corn syrup
    ---------------------------
Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 1 minute,
stir, and heat again for 1 minute if needed (on medium high).

Stir until there are no lumps of unmelted chocolate.

Stir in corn syrup and pour out onto counter or plastic mat.

Squeeze the warm clay over paper towels to "milk" excess oil.

Spread out flat 1/2 inch high, blot with paper towels.

Leave it set up until completely cooled.

Store this wrapped in parchment paper and in a ziploc.

Can be colored after it cools by kneading in small amounts.

    Hugs, Trish
